CANCUN Informations Pratiques

 Modalité d’entrée  : Depuis le 23 Juin 1996, les citoyens français n’ont plus besoin de visa pour un séjour touristique au Mexique. Ils doivent simplement posséder un passeport en cours de validité.

 Douane et formalité de sortie  : Pour un séjour prolongé de courte ou longue durée, il existe 2 types de permis de séjour FM3 et FM2. Ces permis sont délivrés par l’Instituto Nacional de Migracion ou par l’intermédiaire des Consulats du Mexique à l’étranger.

COMMUNAUTÉ FRANCAISE

La communauté Française de Cancun est constituée d’environ 800 personnes qui résident dans l’État du Quintana Roo ; on estime à 500 le nombre de Français vivant à Cancun. La majorité de cette communauté travaille dans l’hôtellerie, la restauration et le tourisme.

Parmi les principaux investisseurs Français dans la région, on compte le Club Med et Suez pour le traitement de eaux.
